Microneedling in Howell & Monroe Township, NJ
Looking for a quick and easy way to have smoother, firmer, and more toned skin? Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that we use on the face to treat large pores, scars, and wrinkles.
What is microneedling?
Microneeding is a skin-pricking procedure that stimulates collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid in your face, giving it volume and diminishing its wrinkles, fine lines, loose skin, and pigment issues.
What does microneedling really do to your face?
Microneeding involves the use of a dermaroller which contains small needles. As we gently apply the dermaroller to specified areas of concern, the subtle pricks cause slight injury to you skin, and your body responds by making new collagen-rich tissue. Simply put, microneedling encourages the production of new skin which is more even in tone and texture because of the higher presence of collagen.
What to Expect from Microneedling
About an hour before we begin the procedure, we apply a topical anesthetic to your face to ensure you don’t feel any discomfort. Once it’s taken effect, the microneedling process takes about 30 minutes. The pricks to your skin are so small that there is no trace of them after the procedure is complete.
How often should I do microneedling?
For best results, we recommend multiple sessions.
This simple procedure requires little downtime. Expect your skin to be red for a day or two, but feel free to return to your regular activities right away.
How much does microneedling cost?
The cost of this procedure depends on the amount of microneedling you require per session and the number of sessions you have done. When you come in for a consultation, we’ll be able to give you an accurate estimate of all costs upfront. We offer payment plans and financing options to ensure the treatments are affordable.
